Signal Box was transported from its original location at Little Bowden Level
Crossing some years ago. Once the new foundations were in place the top
section was rolled into position, jacked up to the correct height and the
brick base then built underneath it.

Inside the P&B
Signal Box. The red leavers control signals, the black ones move points, blue ones control
the facing points locks. Also visible are the two Block Instruments.

This mechanism is
just below the signalman's feet. At the top is the locking that stops wrong movements
being made by the signalman. Just below the movement is translated into rods and cables,
