The Northampton & Lamport Railway is a steam and heritage diesel operated tourist railway located in the Northamptonshire countryside just 5 miles from Northampton, within easy reach of the motorway network.

Why not drop in for a train ride or a snack at the Platform 3 Buffet?

The railway is approximately 1½ miles long, and our return train rides are about 3 miles long and take around 25 minutes in normal operation.

Branch Line Experience — 2^nd, 3^rd & 4^th June 2012 — Steam & Diesel locomotives scheduled to haul passenger services to a special timetable.

Passenger trains are running every Sunday and Bank Holidays (except Good Friday) until the 21^st of October 2012.
