The Northampton & Lamport Railway welcomes visits from schools who wish to give their children the opportunity of discovering at first hand how the railways shaped our history.

As part of Unit 9, Year 3/4 children can sample what life was like as an evacuee during the Second World War.
They travel to the station at Pitsford & Brampton, dressed for the 1940's period complete with label and gas mask box.
