DMS N° 51402 arrived from Crewe on Wednesday 25th August 1999, where it had been in store for the last four years.
To the best of our knowledge the last time this vehicle operated in passenger service was on the East Lancs. Railway during a gala. It then returned to Crewe and was switched off.
