Originally built to diagram NM 501/2 as a standard General Utility Van (GUV) to lot Nº 30565 by Pressed Steel in 1959 and weighing 30 Tons, it was later converted to a Newspaper van and reclassified NJV.
During it's life 94062 moved around considerably, being at Cambridge in 1989, Bristol in 1992 and Euston Down Side in 1996. It arrived on the NLR on Friday 23rd August 1996.
