GWR Open 'C' / Tube 'C' Wagon No W94845

GWR Open 'C' / Tube 'C' Wagon W94845, built at Swindon works, is one of only four examples in preservation.

Originally numbered by the GWR as 94845 the wagon became W94845 upon Nationalisation of the railways in 1948.

This type of Great Western 4-plank open wagon was built during the period between 1917 to 1927 to diagram O19. W94845 is likely to have been built in 1919 or 1920.
