Salmon Wagon № DB996995, built in 1961 by Head Wrightson, Thornaby. The wagon was built to transport 60 ft lengths of rail.
Several modifications have been made during the wagon’s BR service such as the addition of cranes, ratchets for load securing straps, footsteps and a track lighting system.
